Important Rental Information
Our condominiums and villas represent a wide range of accommodations, from extravagant luxury to casual and comfortable. No matter the size of the property, each includes at least one member of staff who will look after your needs on the island. Most of our accommodation choices come with full staff (cook, maid & laundress) which is included in the rental rates.
To help us sever you better, when submitting our requests, please include your Travel dates, number of adults and kids traveling and the ages of the kids if applicable.
We recommend guests who are not familiar with villa locations take our 'meet and greet' transfer service as this ensures you are met at the airport and transported to your villa safely and efficiently. We will supply the cost of this service on application. Villas are fully equipped and rental rates include utilities, staff wages, linens, sundry supplies such as toilet tissue, bath soap, washing up liquid and detergent. Value Added Tax will apply to all rental rates.
On request we will pre-stock the villa with groceries for clients upon arrival at an additional cost, this is highly recommended as clients normally arrive in the afternoon and do not like to be bothered going out to do shopping as soon as they arrive. This will include food items and drinks usually for the first dinner and breakfast, payments for such items must be pre-paid a copy of the grocery list will be sent to you along with the rental agreement for your review. By pre-stocking the villa with food items the cook can prepare a meal for you upon your arrival if needed. Additional supplies can be provided for weekend and holiday arrivals. In some of the larger homes the villa staff will do grocery shopping for guests, this is not compulsory. In the smaller villas, guests usually do their own shopping or they may choose to call a nearby supermarket and order the groceries to be delivered.
All of our villas, condos and apartment are equipped with telephones and some with fax machines. Some villas/condos have a debar system in place preventing overseas calls. It is possible to have the lines open and a telephone deposit will be collected and held until all phone bills have been received. Please note this can be a lengthy process. Calling Cards can be used via the operator to process overseas calls. Televisions and stereos are included at many villas and condos. These can also be rented for the duration of your stay if required. Rental of baby equipment is readily available and payment will be collected locally.
The villa management company will require the client to sign a Credit Card Authorization agreement authorizing the company to debit your credit card for any outstanding charges and/or damages to the villa. This can take up to 3 months for overseas calls/fax calls and up to 2 weeks incidental charges and/or breakages after the end of the rental period. And for any unpaid grocery bills or expenses that may occur during your stay. Please note your credit card will only be charged if overseas calls are made. All local calls are free. We advise you that if you are a holder of a telephone credit card to bring it along with you, calling cards can be used via the operator to process overseas calls. In addition, calling cards can also be purchased on island. Deposit rates vary depending on the villa. Once you have indicated which villa/condo you are interested in we will provide you with more details on the security and/or telephone deposits.
Rental vehicles are not included in villa rental fee; we can supply a comprehensive list of rates on request. We usually arrange for rental cars, vans or SUV's to be delivered to your villa, either the evening of arrival, or the first morning of your stay based on flight arrival times. Or you can pick the rental vehicle at the airport if need be. Remember driving is on the left hand side of the road!
Staff wages are included in your rental fee however giving of gratuities at the end of your stay is customary. We would be happy to give you a guideline of gratuities.
Villa checkout time is at 12:00 noon. It may be possible to arrange a later checkout for guests departing on evening flights, providing there are no guests arriving the same afternoon.
On arrival at the property, the staff member/s will meet and greet you, show you around the house and hand the keys over to you. During your stay the villa manager will contact you to ensure that everything is satisfactory. The staff will also be pleased to assist you with any local information, excursions or special requirements you may need. Our aim is to make our guest's holiday the best it can be!
